From providing immutable proof of authenticity to reducing transaction costs to providing secure and transparent networks, blockchain is making waves everywhere.
It is why we are excited to announce our partnership with Web3Assam, a web3 community and a blockchain think tank located in northeast India. Our collaboration aims to help accelerate blockchain adoption in India, focusing on the unbanked and underbanked rural population living in remote regions of the country.
Web3Assam has identified two primary areas of focus: education and financial services. The two organizations are determined to equip people and businesses in rural India with the knowledge and tools necessary (blockchain) to access the full power of the internet and reap the benefits of the coming blockchain revolution in India.
The team is exploring ways to integrate blockchain into existing processes and systems to improve the lives of those living in rural India. To this end, Block Tides and Web3Assam have developed a roadmap to launch specific initiatives to engage with rural populations. As part of this launch phase, Block Tides will utilize our resources in developing MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) & education for its projects, designed to give rural populations better access to financial services and education.
The partnership comes not just as a business agreement but as a broader social effort and commitment to a state-level blockchain enablement mission. We believe that the combination of our organization’s expertise in providing cutting-edge technology solutions and Web3Assam’s ability to reach out to the general public and educate them on the power of blockchain is a winning recipe for the state of many people.
